A village that used to be home to refugees as well as the headquarters of a new religion Taegukdo, Gamcheon Cultural Village or better known as the “Santorini of Korea” underwent a magical transformation thanks to their Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in South Korea in 2009 into a creative community. The streets were decorated with mural paintings and several of the homes took on new life as art studios and galleries. Perched on top of a hill, this little quaint village is a must-see when you visit Busan!
